‪Sculptor and preparator at Museums Victoria, Brendon Taylor started his career painting cars as a young man in Tasmania. Brendon joined the museum back in 1999. Taxidermy is an art he has learnt on the job. Melbourne Museum is one of the few museums in Australia with a dedicated preparation/taxidermy department. Brendon and fellow preparators are often sought out for their specialist expertise from colleagues in Australia and overseas.
