Join us for a presentation about the new Coogee Maritime Trail and a tour of its foreshore.

Claire Braithwaite, Environmental Education Officer, City of Cockburn will provide background on how the trail came to be, where it’s at and future plans. Topics covered will include:

  • Partnerships and collaboration with WA Maritime Museum, UWA and other stakeholders,
  • Current management and future plans,
  • Promotion and community education.

Getting There

We will be meeting at Socrates Park on Socrates Parade and moving to the Omeo foreshore.

Public Transport: From Fremantle train station - take the 548 bus to Orsino Bvd After Pantheon Ave.

From Cockburn Central train station - take the 532 bus to Hamilton Rd Before Ocean Rd.

Car: There is limited parking available along Socrates Parade and on-street parking in the surrounding area.

Please be aware as we are visiting the Omeo foreshore that accessibility may be limited due to sand and public bathrooms are not available in the immediate area.
