Please arrive at 5:45pm at the Russell Street entrance near the security check point. The tour will begin at 6pm, so don’t be late! The numbers on the tour are extremely limited – please be sure you can attend before registering.

Getting There

Train: Melbourne Central station is directly opposite the State Library Victoria’s Swanston Street entrance

Tram: Ten tram routes take you directly to the Library on Swanston Street and La Trobe Streets

Accessibility

Wheelchair access via Swanston Street, using the ramp at La Trobe Street, near the corner of Swanston Street. Lifts provide access within the building. Accessible toilets are available. Please let us know if you have access requirements so we can ensure a smooth entry to the building for you.
