cardiParty 2019.06 Melbourne – Archie Boulter, Queer Town
Join Archie Boulter, a Melbourne-based entrepreneur and LGBTIQA+ advocate, as they share their experiences creating “queer spaces” within the GLAM sector. Archie will be discussing their recent efforts co-leading the establishment of LGBTIQA+ Advisory Groups across Museums Victoria (Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum & Scienceworks), as well as co-founding the social enterprise called Queer Town, which was selected to take part in the Foundry658 Accelerator program, run by ACMI and the State Library.
Archie Boulter is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Queer Town, an online destination of LGBTIQA+ digital media, designed by queer people for queer people. On top of building this online platform, Archie produces events at Melbourne Museum and works as an LGBTIQA+ Trainer at both Transgender Victoria and Rainbow Health Victoria.
