Our October Cardi Parti featured Paolo Barracchi, Coordinator Italian Historical Society, with a talk and tour of Co.As.It and the Museo Italiano in Carlton. Paulo showed us around, and talked about what happens at Co.As.It – a unique organisation incorporating a museum, library, archive and sometime gallery – for Australia’s Italian community.
Paolo talked about the Museo’s close relationship with the Australian-Italian community, and their ‘hands on’ approach to displaying items.
After Paulo’s talk and tour, we enjoyed drinks, dinner, and a chat at Markov Bar.
